Mud on the tires

March was full of wonderful events and I can't wait to share. The first part of March my brother Josef got married. We were so excited to share that day with them. He was the last one in my family to get married. We love Andie and are happy to have her as part of our family.

Later in March it was my birthday. Because we had to work on my birthday we decided to celebrate it on the Monday before. We went to Outback to eat, because that is my favorite place to eat. I love the green beans there! On Thursday we both got off work early so we could spend the day together. Courtney got me a new Camera which i am very grateful for, and we also got a pack and play. We were very excited to get it home to put it together. Jordi was the first one to try it out and it works great.

Last weekend we decided to go up to New Harmony and go for a ride. Courtney wanted to get "mud on the tires" So away we went. The start of the ride was okay and even crossing the river wasn't bad. It wasn't until we got in the snow drifts that i started to get scared. I thought we were going to slide into the ditch, so I made Courtney turn around. He wasn't very happy, but in the end I'm sure he was grateful we didn't wreck his man truck. It was a fun and beautiful ride and we had fun after we got out of the snow drifts.

We went up and looked at the damage of the fires. There is a lot of burnt land. It was sad to see. The view looking away from the fire was beautiful.

On the 29th we had out first doctors appointment!! It was so cool to see the baby moving around. The doctor got a 3D picture for us, but he was moving so we didn't get to see the head. In this picture you can see the back and the legs. We can't wait till our next appointment.

Great News

It's been a long time since i have updated our blog. We have been very busy getting back into the swing of school and although its been 3 months we sill aren't fully there. We are very excited there is only 4 more weeks of school left. I will only have May before i go back to school and Courtney is lucky enough to get 2 months off. Summer school isn't going to be the best, but that's what we have to do.

February was a wonderful month. 2 days before Valentines days I found out we are going to have a little one. I couldn't wait to tell Courtney, but his phone was dead. It seemed like forever before he got home. I put the pregnancy test on the bar and when he came in he didn't even notice it. He kept going on and on about WRESTLING. It took him a few minutes, but when he did notice it he was so happy.

In the middle of the week Courtney decorated our bedroom door with a few of my favorite things, and he wrote me a cute little letter. He is so sweet, and I love him very much. I know there is no better man out there.




That was our fun exciting month, and it had some wonderful time. We are very exciting to have a new addition to our family and can't wait till October.
