Weekend full of fun!

Our little girl is not so little anymore. She is growing up so fast. Sometimes I think she grows over night, because I will look at her and realize she is bigger then the day before. She is still in 0-3 month clothes, but really is getting bigger. Kambri likes to sit up. I think that is her favorite thing to do. She tries so hard to sit when she is laying down or elevated. When I get home from work you can always count on her eye lighting up and her getting excited to see me. It's my favorite thing in the whole world.

Some of her new favorite things to do are:
  • Her new thing now is to chew on her thumb. I wonder where she learned that from grandpa Jeffs?
  • Blow raspberries
  • Have tummy time
  • Eat rice cereal with bananas (she hasn't liked any of the veggies we give her)
  • Play with her best friend Jantz
  • Explore Jordi (Our dog)

Kambri went in for her 4 month check up on Monday.
Here are the stats:
Weight: 13lbs 8oz (45%)
Heights: 24.5in (57%)
Head: 16 in (38%)
We didn't know she got shots (not sure why we didn't know) so it was a surprise when they said she is getting shots. It was even more sad this time than last. She stopped crying and then she would whimper.
On Monday we also went miniature golfing with Trent, Natalie and Jantz. I have never been before and it was so much fun. I started off well, but by the end I ended up with the high score. Kambri had fun looking at all the drawings on the wall.

Rice Cereal

I was reading in my "What to expect the first year" book some signs that your baby might be ready for Rice Cereal. After reading that I decided we could try it out to see if she liked it. At first she wasn't too sure about it, but I think she likes it now.

Valentines

Kambri just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day!

Monopoly

Jordi likes to be involved in everything we do. He likes to walk all over us, and all over what we are doing. I can't even have peace in the bathroom without him! He must really love me. While playing Monopoly he must have decided we weren't paying enough attention!
See how sad he looks? Poor little guy just wanted some attention.

Anything new with the Ivory's?

No, there really isn't much going on in our lives. I have been supper busy with work, school, my church calling and being a mom and a wife. I wish there were more hours in the day to get it all done. At times it's overwhelming, but I have the greatest husband in the world to help me. Usually when I get home from work Courtney has the house clean, and the laundry done. He is an amazing husband.
Kambri is growing more and more every day. She is starting to grab things with her hands. She loves to put things in her mouth. Her favorite thing to do is sit up. If she is not sitting up, she tries to hard to sit up. Today she rolled to her side. I'm sure it'll be any day before she rolls over. She spends most of her day with her daddy and you can tell she loves him so much. My favorite thing is when she sees me her eyes light up and she gets so happy.

We have heard that SUU have a good gymnastics team, so we have gone to check them out a few times. We got wanted to show our school spirit, so we got Kambri a SUU shirt. Both times we have gone she has slept through most of it.

We got her a Bumbo a few weeks ago, and she loves it. She can't sit in it for too long, but she likes it. When i'm cooking dinner, she sit in her Bumbo and watches me!
She has her daddy's crooked smile.
This weekend we were going to go to the temple, but not having family in Cedar makes it hard to find a babysitter, so we couldn't go. Instead we went out to Parawan gap. It was a really nice day, but didn't want to keep Kambri out in the cold for too long, so we got out of the car long enough to take a picture. I don't think Kambri has ever been out of her car seat outside before. I guess you could say we are documenting a momentous moment.

She looks a little groggy because she cannot stay awake in the car, so she has just woke up.
