Update

Courtney is into his second year of PT school. He is doing really well and puts a lot of hard work into school. He come home everyday after class to spend time with us and studies when we are all asleep. He works so hard in school and works hard to be with us.
Over the summer we spent a lot of time going to Orem Owlz games, golfing, and going to Seven Peaks. Courtney took up golfing and entered into a golf tournament with some people from school. He also played softball over the summer with people from school. They were in a tournament and won the regular season championship for the Orem Rec. League.
For 6 weeks starting in September we lived in Vernal with my parents. Courtney was doing a clinical in Roosevelt for 6 weeks. He was gone for 13 hours a day 4 days a week. I hated that he was gone so much, but glad that my mom was there to help with the kids. We would come home every 2 weeks to check on our little apartment and be together since Courtney was gone so much. It was a lot of traveling and we are glad to be home. We are glad that we get more time with Courtney and he isn't gone for 13 hours a day. Sometimes we miss living with my parents, because they were so good to us. We had a lot of luxuries that we don't have living in Provo.
Now that we are back in Provo we are getting ready to move to St. George. We just found out we got into some townhomes in Washington which takes a lot of stress off us. We will be moving at the end of December for Courtney's 30 week clinical. We are excited to get out of the cold for the winter and start a new adventure.

Courtney and Kambri

Kambri always asks us to stay after we read to her at night. Courtney always falls asleep with her. He loves that she cuddles with him. She usually yells at him to get out and only wants her mom.

Kambri and Trace spent a lot of time with Rheagan and Rigdon for the 6 weeks we were in Vernal.

Courtney doesn't get a lot of cuddles from the kids because they only want me. He has to eat up every minute of cuddles with the kids.

Trace 8 months

Trace is starting to stand on his own now. He has started to hate his saucer, but love his other toys. He loves to play with Kambri in her room. If Kambri starts to play with something Trace has to be right there to start playing with her.  Trace is coming around to the idea of solids as long as he can pick up the food and eat it himself. He will eat toast in the morning, baby food in the afternoon, and whatever we can find for him to eat for dinner. He still doesn't sleep well at night and I have no idea how to change that. He has this internal alarm that wakes him up at 4 am and then he is awake every hour after that. I hope he starts to sleep better in the near future.

Kambri 3 years old

I can't believe Kambri is 3. She has learned so much in her short life. Just before Kambri's birthday she had to get her tonsils out. She was such a champ. We had to go to the Central Utah Surgical Center at 6 a.m. to check in. After they called us back the nurse came into the little waiting area and swept her away. After a short 30 minute wait we were able to go back and see her. The nurse kept telling us how well Kambri was doing and how she has never heard a child not cry before. The days that followed were hard, but we made it through and she recovered well. It has made a huge difference in how she sleeps, eats, and even in her behavior.
Kambri has started to say thing like "actually...", "stinky old man", "get outta here", "mom, I so tired", "you're cracking me up", "you're breaking my heart" and "I kiss boys". She has these princess figurines and makes Flynn Ryder talk to Rapunzel. I think that is her favorite thing to do. She also loves to make her Barbies, and princesses from her Little People princess castle talk to one another.
Besides making her toys talk, she loves to play dress up. She loves to get in a dress up dress and some "glass slippers" and walk around the house. If she is in a good mood she will let Courtney dance with her. He is her prince.
Now that her tonsils are out she is eating so well. Before her tonsils were out she would hardly eat anything. Now she eats twice as much as she was eating. Her favorite things to eat are chicken, cereal, mac and cheese, hot dogs, cream of wheat, and any fruit. She isn't a big fan of candy, cakes or ice cream. She will eat ice cream, but it's only to get to the cone.
She has started to show more interest in Trace now that he is crawling. Sometimes when he is right next to her too much she gets irritated, but that is to be expected. She loves to pick him up and make him laugh. In the car we will often hear her tell him, "Trace, you're cracking me up". She loves to feed him now that he can eat solids, and will often offer to nurse him.
Kambri had her first kiss from Jantz. They were in a photo booth after we watched Monsters University and she got scared and cuddled into Jantz. So, naturally, he put his arm around her and stole a kiss. She now says "I kiss boyfriends". When we pass the new Provo City Center Temple she will say she is going to marry Jantz in her "Temple Castle".

Kambri 34 months

Kambri has started to boycott naps. I have had to lay next to her so she will take a nap. She is definitely not ready to stop taking naps. By the end of the day she is so tired and onery. Somtimes she is so tired that she falls asleep on the couch or on the car rides to take Courtney his food at night.
Kambri has also got her first golf club or "cwub" as she calls it. She loves to go to the driving range with her dad to hit golf balls. She has one ball that has the Pepsi sign on it and she calls it her soda ball. I often find her with her "cwub" and soda ball ready to play golf.
Kambri has finally started to play in her room without me there. She loves to make dinner in her kitchen, and she loves her princess castle. She will often ask us what we want for dinner and when we say something she will say "umm... we don't have that".
For the last few weeks Kambri has been complaining that her throat hurts, but she has had no other symptoms so I didn't take her to the doctor. When I finally looked in her throat her tonsils were huge, so I took her to the doctor. They did a strep test and said to come back in a week. After a negative strep test and a week later we went back to the doctor. This time they said we needed to go to and ENT and have a blood test to see if it was Mono. A few days later we went to get her blood taken and she did so so well. She had a few tears, but it was much better than expected. The Mono test came back positive, but it wasn't active. After taking her to the ENT and waiting a month to see if her tonsils would go down we decided to get them removed. I guess we'll see how that goes in a few weeks.
