Christmas 2010

Okay, so i know it's a little late to just be doing a christmas post, but i've been supper busy at work and when i got home i only have 4 hours to spend with my little family.
So, Christmas was great, we went to Price this year and spent it with Courtney's family and a little with mine. It was so much fun. I think i was more excited for Kambri's first christmans than she was. It was a little strange not being at my parents house, because this is my first christmas morning without them. It was a good change though. In the morning Kambri slept till about 8. After opening gifts at Courtney's house we made the trip to Castle Dale to open with my family, and have dinner. We played Just Dance, and had so much fun that when we got home we had to buy it. It was a good short break, but much needed.

Our tree at our house!

Kambri in her christmas jammies, and her new toys

I have wanted to make a blanket for Kambri for a long time, so I finally made one for Christmas. Thanks to everyone who helped me make it.

We decided to get her this instead of a playmate, because it grow into a little desk as she gets older.

I love the look on her face. We got an even better picture of her in the hat on our phones.

I can't believe it's December and my little girl is 2 months

It's been a long time since i have blogged, so I'll get you all caught up on what's going on in our boring life.

For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house in Castle Dale. It was a lot of fun to be with my family. Jamele got a new house, so we had it over there. Rheagan kept telling me over the phone i needed to come see her room. She was pretty proud of her new room. I'm glad they found a place that is theirs. We got pictures will all the little girls and they were so cute. I have missed my family, so it was good to see them and spend time with them.

Rheagan and Hayley love baby Kambri and baby Austin. they have no idea which baby i which. They are just fascinated with that babies. They try so hard to be a big help with the babies, and love to hold them. It's so cute.

Austin is 5 1/2 weeks older than Kambri. There is a big difference in size. They don't really know that the other one exists yet, but I'm sure they will be good friends when they grow up.

On Black Friday Jamele, Nick, Josef, Andie, Courtney, and I decided we were going to Wal-Mart, so we left Austin, Kambri and Rheagan with my mom. When we can home she had not got any sleep at all. When Kambri was awake Austin was sleeping, and when Kambri would finally get to sleep Austin would wake up. I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep mom, but thanks for helping out. The only Christmas we got on Black Friday was our T.V and our T.V stand. Before we got it I told Courtney he couldn't open it till Christmas, but he convinced me he needed to watch Football on it, so when we got home that was the first thing he did.

We took Kambri for her 2 month appointment last week, and my poor little baby has acid reflux.
She has to take medicine 2 times a day. She does really good and doesn't even cry. Kambri is such a happy baby. She only cried when she is tired, and she smiles the rest of the day. She loves to talk to her daddy and carry on a conversation (if you can call her coos that).
New things she can do include:
Following objects
Old things in her hands
Smiles all the time
Coos when we talk to her
Lift her head up and almost her chest when she is having tummy time
Sleeps through the night.

Kambri Stats:
Weight: 9.01lb 14%
Height: 22" 43%
Head Circumference: 14.75" 23%

We love our little girl so much and love to see all the new things that she does. Kambri spends lots of time with her dad now that i am working full time, and he is loving every minute of it. It's really hard for me to be away from her, but I know that this is what i needed to do for our little family.

We decided we would actually make our ginger bread house this year instead of having it sit on our fridge until June. We should have left it in the box, because it was not a success. We didn't even start putting on the decorations before it started to fall apart. We kept it up long enough to put a few decoration on, and to get a picture. Even though it wasn't a success it was still fun.
