Trace 7 months

Trace started to stand up on whatever he can. He thinks he is so cool when he can stand. He loves to explore and will crawl to everything to figure out what it is. He loves to rub whatever toy he is playing with on the ground back and forth. He really hasn't been sleeping well. I don't know what the deal is, but he wakes up every 2 hours at night. He has started to become a big mamas boy. He only lets me put him to sleep and when he cries he only wants me. When we are in the car he cries and cries until I either get in the back with him, or he is able to hold my hand while I drive. He cried for 2 1/2 hours when we moved to Vernal. The mirror I got him has helped a little, but he still likes to see me or hold my hand. He is taking 3 naps a day, but he only sleeps for 45 minutes. Trace has really taken a liking to balls. He will play with a ball for a good 20 minutes before he goes to another toy. He still doesn't really like baby food, but we are still working on it. Trace has taken a liking to Mickey Mouse. I think he really likes all the colors. My sister has a Mickey Mouse chair and he plays with it the whole time we are there. When he sees the chair he gets so excited.
First time in a swing.

Trying to climb the stairs. He actually made it up the first step before I stopped him.

He loves this chair. When he sees it he crawls to it as fast as he can and stands up on it.

Trace 6 months

Trace has learned so much in his short 6 months. Trace started out scooting, but progressed into crawling in a few short weeks. He goes crazy when he sees toys. He isn't a fan of his saucer anymore. He started on solids, but he hates them, so he doesn't really eat them. He still eats every 3 hours, but can go longer if he busy. He naps 3 times a day, but only for 45 minutes each nap unless I am holding him. He has been waking up every hour and will only go back to sleep if I feed him. He had his first ear infection. I had no idea he had one. We took Kambri in to the doctor because she said her ear hurt, so I had them check Trace and he had a worse ear infection than Kambri.
Kambri loves to put things on his head

Love his smile. He is getting so big

He has a little of his dad in him........

...... and a lot of his mom

He has a box of toys in the living room and he will play with them for hours

He always has to have his arm out when he sleeps.

We took a trip to St. George to look for a place to live and stopped by the temple.

Trace go his first Indians hat

Courtney says if he wears his hat it will bring the Indians luck to get the wild card.

His favorite place is in Kambri's room with all the toys.

Trace 5 months

Since Trace is able to fully support his head and is starting to sit up we broke out the ExerSaucer. He loves it. It will keep him entertained for a good 30 minutes. He is a really good and happy baby. He is starting to sit unsupported. He is starting to pick things up and put everything in his mouth. He drools so much his whole shirt will be soaked in minutes. He had his first taste of solid foods and he did not like it. He wouldn't let me put the spoon in his mouth. We will try again next month.
He loves to chew on toys

He broke out the bumbo he thinks he is pretty cool sitting in it. (we do not let him sit on the table without on of us there at all times)

Sitting on Grandma Greats lap.

Watching the Lamb Day parade in Fountain Green.
He loves to try and grab his toys.

Trace got his first hair cut. I was so nervous to cut it, but he did really good.

Orem Owls game.

Watching the fireworks

Trace 4 months

Trace can now fully support his head when he is being held. He always rolls to his side to sleep whenever he gets the chance. I still swaddle him at night, so he only gets to roll over on his side for his naps. At the first of the month he still wouldn't take a binki, and the only thing that would calm him down would be ESPN, or looking at a picture of my mom. Towards the end of the month we found the perfect fit of binki for him. Now it takes no time to put him to sleep. He isn't sleeping as well as he was, but he still only gets up a few times a night.

Sleeping at Seven Peaks

Trace has a love/hate relationship with his toy. It is his favorite toy and he loves to chew on it, but he often gets mad at the toy and screams at it.

Trying on sunglasses

At the Naples water park

We went to Wingers and Trace was watching the game with his dad. Courtney was so proud.

Trace 3 months

Trace rolled over for the first time. He only does it occasionally, but he can do it. He has also found his toes. He only wakes up 2 times at night to eat and he still eats every 3 hours. It is still taking him 40 minutes to eat and I keep hoping it will shorten as he gets older. He loves to look around and is starting to recognize his name. He looks for me when I walk in a room and when I start to talk. He is a pro at holding his head up when he is being held. He had his first park day with Kambri and he went to Seven Peaks for the first time. We bought a sun tent and he stays under that the whole time. As he gets older I will be more brave to let him get in the water.
They love to cuddle

I am amazed at how fast he is growing

He still doesn't take a binki very well, but we get him to suck for a few minutes.

I put him in his car seat one day and was amazed that he grew over night.

Holds his head up like a pro.

At the park with Kambri.

Another park day.

Ready for Seven Peaks in his new swimsuit.

His hair is getting so long. He has this really long patch at the top of his head.

Trace's Blessing

Trace had his blessing April 14, 2013. Courtney did such a good job on the blessing. Courtney was going to record it, but never pushed the record on his phone. We are so grateful for all of our family who came to share this special day with us.

Trace 2 Months

Trace is 2 months now. The time has really flown. Trace can now hold his head up when doing tummy time, Smile, and he only wakes up 2 times at night to eat.
Stats: 11.75 lbs, 32.2%; 23.75 inches, 76.8%; 15.25 inches head circumference, 32.6%
Trace loves Kambri, and loves when she makes him smile.

Trace when out to his first restaurant. We had to take the kids with us for our anniversary dinner.

Trace has a lot of blow outs. I think it's time for a larger size of diapers.

I don't like when little boys come to church in shorts or pajamas, so we try to dress Trace up for church every Sunday.

Nights are hard because Courtney is at work. Since it takes Trace around 40 minutes to go to sleep he reads to Kambri with me.

Trace's first trip was to my mom and dad's in Vernal.

While in Vernal Trace went to his first Museum. The Dinosaur Museum.
